Practical Skills for Managing Your Moods

The Depression Workshop is a course for people who live with low moods and are interested in learning how to lower the impact and disruption these episodes have on their lives.

The workshop puts depression in biological, psychological, spiritual, and sociological context, identifying and dispelling myths and misunderstandings while presenting the most recent, reliable research available on a variety of interventions.

The Depression Workshop is not therapy, it is education for people who live with frequent low moods. The curriculum is built around a set of teachable, practical skills and ideas that are grounded in research.

The objective of completing a workshop is to empower you to formulate an action plan, including putting together a care team if needed.

Many students want to start therapy with a licensed professional, but are unsure about what to expect. Seeking out care that fits your needs is covered in the workshop, as well as looking at the safety and efficacy of alternative mental health & wellness interventions.
